It was all Pat's fault.


The sequencing would have you believe that Nixon was doing fine (mentally) after the 11th interview.

Only when he overhears Pat remark to Jack that she's so glad its "all going according to plan". Implying that only a 'plan' could make Nixon do well during the interviews.

Its after that he seems to fall apart.

I thought that cause/effect idea was a little weak.


I'm on trial for being afraid?
