Afghanistan reference?

During the song/rap at the party, roughly midway through the movie, they keep making reference to Afghanistan.

I didn’t get it.

Is it my lack of knowledge concerning Brazilian culture that let me down, or my lack of knowledge regarding rap?!

Here in Brazil the references to Afghanistan mean:
brutal, senseless, endless war, with civilians treated as and being killed as militaries. There are as well some other references to other countries, like Vietnam, meaning the same.
