Apartment plastered with pictures

I am seriously not expecting a lot from a Nora Roberts adaptation but the scene in which Reese and Brody discover her apartment walls covered in copies of the murder victim's sketch was just plain stupid.
Up until that point Reese was neurotic and paranoid but still reasonably smart and logical. But one look at those blue/black-light bulbs and an even brighter one should've turned on in her head. Sleepwalking and/or losing time is one thing but I very much doubt those bulbs and dozens of copies of the sketch just happened to lie around her apartment. Nevermind that she obviously just got home from the market after having been at work. Are we supposed to think she didn't notice when she got up that morning? Did she sleepwalk to the convenience store in the middle of the night to purchase those light bulbs?
It was overdone and, it's almost embarrassing to say, handled a lot better in the book. The killer is way smarter and more subtle in the novel, which makes Brody believing and trusting her mean a lot more.
From that moment on the plot is utterly predictable and boring, even if you haven't read the book.
