Below Par Film

Understand this is my opinion of the film, and I truly respect everyones hard work and dedication to this project.
This movie was poorly produced and it's apparently due to the lack of funds that were available. The movie is the perfect example of why it's obvious that you need far more than 5-10 grand to produce a great film. It's not even worth it unless you can pay for good talent, and better equipment. The sound was lousy, the acting was weak, a level equal to what you can find at any local high school or community college acting department. A prime example of B Flick entertainment, the foundation of mediocrity in the industry.

I like how you managed to bash both the production and the people involved without saying a single thing about either one of them.

Seriously. That was nicely done. You even managed to give reasons (the lack of funds) without the logic (were you their accountant?)

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this film? I'd very much like to see it; I know a few who were involved with it and am wondering if it truly deserves a 5.2/10. The rating probably needs tweaking, if it's based on only twenty-six votes...

I'm also impressed with the pat myself on the back attitude of this statz guy. hopefully his community has more than 10 people with a brain, because his idea of a review is somewhere between moronic and non-existent.

so it takes at least eleven people to screw in a "this is bad" light bulb?

Danny stop trying to sound intellectual - you're plainly not. You want a copy of this? What you want is a life. "Tweaking" ratings? OMG give me a break. "Tweaking", yeah? What they need is bludgeoning with a sledgehammer down to the 1/10 anyone with half a brain would give this crap.

I'm confused. Was this reply directed at me? If so, I don't know what you mean. o_o; Are you saying I've rated this film? I haven't, 'cause I've not seen it ... you sound pretty angry about something, and I'm not sure what.

You don't need that much to make a great film. You just need a great story with likeable characters. I've seen several great indie films with 4 figure budgets.

I'd say character driven comedies are the easiest to make with 4 figure budgets (no big explosions or zombie makeup or blood, just people talking).
