Anders Thomas Jensen's weakest script ever

Anders Thomas Jensen's scripts are usually the strongest part of any film he's contributed to. "I Kina spiser de hunde" and "Blinkende lygter" are brilliant scripts (the former of which deserved so much better than what Lasse Spang-Olsen could ever provide, but let's not get into that). "Ved verdens ende" and "Hvid nat" both seemed to dissolve towards the end... but none of his scripts have ever come even close to veering off track halfway through like this one did. What happened? Did he suddenly run out of time and leave it to some chick-lit ghost writer to finish it?

I thought that it was just ok, even if the black humor didn't last long before it turned awkward and sad, and then pure drama, except until the movie ended and the issue of the woman beating her husband was not resolved in any way. No nono no. No. Not acceptable at all.
