I was totally expecting NOT to like this movie, but it proved me wrong. This movie made me laugh out loud:) I would have liked the baby-making storyline left completely out of the movie. AS a matter of fact, the wife was not even necessary. She was a distraction from what was funny... dax shepard and keaton. They totally worked well together along with the weird guy on the sofa. I rated it a six, but now I'm thinking that was too low. Loved it!
shareYes! I laughed out loud too. After reading some of the other comments, I realized how lucky I am to have a sense humor. A lot of the people on this site don't. Sad.
shareI picked this film up for £1 and loved every minute of it. Each to there own, but I kept laughing out loud. Would recommend this film highly.
shareI fully expected to hate this movie, and as a result I avoided it for years. But as the loyal Diane Keaton fan that I am, I finally gave in and gave it a chance. Lo and behold, I liked it – quite a bit, actually.
Diane Keaton and Dax Shephard worked well together, and Jerry Lambert was hilarious as their boss (until he fired them). Liv Tyler seems out of place, but doesn't she always? The main plot isn't always as interesting as some of the detours this film takes, but it's all worthwhile. It's far from a perfect film, but it's a solid 7/10 stars from me.
