this show is copying THREE show styles :
romper room, boomerang , and pee wee's playhouse

why do these people even bother to put live action stuff on nick
if it doesn't have anything good

its childrens television. i doubt any child has ever seen any of the above named shows. and all childrens tv has the same premise and style. fun, music, learning, life lessons. and of course people in costumes or puppets. calm down its not nearly as big of an issue as your making it out to be. and i thought the show was great and honestly, i doubt any of the above shows had beat boxing lessons with biz markie. you can say alot of things about the shows creator mc bat commander, but he is incredibly original man so i highly doubt the show isn't going to prove itself to be different and orignal in time, i mean seriosuly there was only one epsiode.

My daughter loves this show. You can't possibly think anything is original anymore. Romper room, Boomerang and Pee Wee's playhouse weren't original either. I know that it is different enough so that whatever similarities between the shows you mentioned are minimal and would only be noticed by a nit picker. The real ? is do the kid's like it? because believe it or not this show was not made for you.

My 4 year old can't stand most of what passes as kids tv because, as he puts it - "it's boring". He also (unfortunately) understands way too much for his age so it's put a damper on watching as much Futurama and Family Guy as we used to. A 4 year old saying "Peter needs to stop drinking so much beer so he won't be so fat" absolutely out of the blue in public was thankfully the non humiliating wakeup call that he was getting it way too well.

That being said, he really likes this show, aside from the dancing kids part. I find it oddly disturbing in a train wreck sort of way (especially the lip synching of DJ Lance). It's got nothing to do with maturity level (since his way less mature "friend" of the same age across the street doesn't like it) and quite honestly, shows like Beavis and Butthead and Pee Wee's Playhouse were the same way - those that didn't like them claimed that those that did were immature and those that did liked them often for really inexplainable reasons.

Personally, it's far far less annoying than yet another annoying Dora or Diego. Of course, the horrible "old" emergency alert test signals that would blow out your ear drums are far more watchable (and likeable) to me than the popular Wonder Pets, so perhaps it's just that I don't "get" what is so great about the popular to the masses childrens programming.

Ok so your son doesn't like this show. The first review wasn't clear I thought you may have been an adult with out children trying to rate children's shows. I belong to cafemom and most of the mom's on there say their children love it so I doubt it will be canceled soon. I resent the fact that you called my daughter immature though. It must be great to feel so superior. Jerk. Does it make you feel good to insult a three year old?

There are plenty of other children's channels to tune to when this is on if your kid doesn't like it. I hate teletubbies, boohbah, calliou, maisy and several other children's shows. I won't let my daughter watch them but I'm not going to go on their boards and insult children who do like those shows.

My one year old loves it, and the funny thing is, my 3 year old twins came in to watch it with him, and they stopped short and looked horrified the whole time it was on. I guess to each their own, but if you don't like a show, TURN OFF THE TELEVISION. My kid likes it, so I put up with it, but if I was SO against it, I'd change the channel, pop in a dvd, or shut the set off. Hmm.

Vice, Virtue. It's best not to be too moral. You cheat yourself out of too much *life*.

I love this show, and i'm not a kid. i really wish this show had been on when i was a kid. forget about what you think is cool and what is annoying and get funky with Muno, Brobee, Foofa, Plex, and Toodee.

About time they come up with a kids show that doesn't have some stupid explorer and a map
