If you are tired of overcooked cgi and just want a laugh try it. It has to be the worst special effects since the Trollenberg Terror 1958.
shareDon't run you mouth about the Trollenberg Terror/The Crawling Eye, that one is one of my favouite 50s B-movies. Eye of the Beast sucks though, but what do you expect of a film with a budget of 2 Million bucks these days. The cheesy effect of Trollenberg Terror is one of the things that makes that old flick charming, even without the MST3k commentary.
