Eye of the Beast remake?
The dialouge evokes deja-vu. Is this a remake of another film? Or maybe just another crummy script? Very dumb either way and a waste of time.

shareJust another dumb, formulaic Sci-Fi Channel "original".
Nowhere girl i think the film that you think this might be a remake of is Peter Benchley's The Beast back in 1996 which i found better than this one.. Pretty much the same premise but no cgi squid.

You know what i do like -is that Sci-Fi channels attempt to show a "some-what" re-creation of such fave movies like Benchley's The Beast which most def. had a larger budjet to begin with, but this kind of movie was sorta ok to watch-i was kinda simmering the fact that a young talent like James would be in a lower budget type flick but i take it he's a fan of this kinda skit (killer marine life). This movie for some reason had a Killer Tomatoes feel to it, which to me was a god aweful flick to watch but does have a huge following minus the killer veggies or shall i say killer fruit lol..so i guess acting is acting and work is work for actors. as for the movie i would have to say it was just bare-able to watch and was fairly easy to follow along. simple film to me as i can almost guarantee it will on from time to time especially in the summer months.
shareI think I would have to compare this to Fire Maidens From Outer Space or other movies where absolutely nothing happens for the longest time. This is so bad & boring it's hard to make fun of, unlike most of the Sci-Fi Channel movies which give us all a good laugh every Saturday.
shareIt isn't dumb if you put yourself in the place of the characters, feeling what they feel. IMDb says this movie is not a remake of any movie.
