HIBS/HEARTS STUFF REBUS AS LADIES MAN.SPOILERS

SPOILERS I SUPPOSE.

Watching the STOTT series again I think I had been too critical of it although it is not as good as it should be.

Two things strike me when comparing it to the books,
all the football stuff (Hibs and Hearts are the 2 Edinburgh football clubs)and Rebus as ladies man.

I am a Hibs fan but find all the football stuff false in this,in the books Rebus is not a football fan but DS CLARKE is.
Rebus is a music fan in the books but this is downplayed in the tv series.

In almost every case in this series REBUS meets women who find him attractive or have previously had a relationship with him,it seems a bit unlikely.

Haven't seen the series, but yes, Rebus is a huge music fanatic, mostly old stuff, but Siobhan tries to get him more current.

And he definitely doesn't care much about football.

As far a women and relationships, he's had a few throughout the books, but he's definitely no ladies-man.
