Best lines....

After seeing a few re-runs of this recently... think Karen has most of the best lines or scenes...
When being told she is suspended because of her behaviour with the reception class, her retort with the head when he says 'You cried in front of reception', her 'but they cry all the time' was priceless.
Any of the scenes with with her and Billy (Paul Kaye) are brilliant.
Did like Donna's scene with her boss in episode 2 series 1, where she thought she was a Marketing Manager only to find out she was the PA to the Marketing manager.

One of favourites is in the very first episode:

Louise: "Karl's really dependable"
Karen: "So's Terry Wogan but you wouldn't want him blowing his muck up you every night"

Yeah, the Terry Wogan line is a stand out, also Louise's "the other good thing about Carl is he'd never hit you" is a great one from the same scene.

I really love the scene in the first series where Donna's trying desperately to blag her way through that interview at the film production company, where she's heard the foul mouthed banter between the two people there and throws in her own to try and ease her way through.

The episode where Karen tries to quit the drink is also a great one, more visual stuff there though, like Karen being found in the phone box with a half eaten, disposed takeaway, her half drunk ramblings after being discharged from the cells and her outburst in the video store where she topples over the shelf after being turned down by that bloke she propositions sober, lol.

Karen (all messed up, morning after) to Donna:

"You wanna take a good hard look at yourself Donna....you're a mess".

Karen stumbles off.

Karen's line to Tanya in 2.1 is a great one: "All I will say Tanya, is that people in glass houses shouldn't take their best friend's ex boyfriend's cock inside them in a pile of yogurt, okay" lol

'Look, no offence, but I don't want anyone to know we had sex'
'Why? Are you embarrassed?'
'No, just ashamed.'

When Tanya's son calls Carl a prick.

When Donna said something about wishing that she could experience having a guy "fall asleep in her mouth".

I just remembered another great one...when Louise was trying to flirt with a guy at the cafe:
The guy asks, "Do you have any pumpkin risotto?" and Louise says, "I'll find you some...even if I have to regurgitate it myself."

The best line is when Donna is telling Richard not to come down to breakfast after she drunkenly had sex with him. She says she was drunk, he says he wasn't drunk, then with the best delivery ever, she responds "well then it was practically rape so if you tell anyone im calling the cops".

When Karen's talking about the guy she slept with the night before, and how she told him about his size...and then he's standing right there

Karen is down the pub and Donna phones her and she's tells her that Karl has tried to kill himself, so Karen just says "What a *beep* The delivery of it was prefect.
