Fearlessly Un-PC show

Possibly the most politically incorrect show I've ever seen. Especially the second season that takes place in Mexico.

Sure, I know that we're supposed to laugh at Kenny rather than sympathize with him, but it's still weird to hear him run his mouth so freely about everything and the show gets away with it.

I found it refreshing, seeing that kind of uninhibited creativity.

What the so-called politically correct fail to grasp is that the author is not their characters. Just look at Stephen King or Anne Rice, both have made up some monstrous characters, but this does not speak to their personal ideals or perspective.

I applaud Eastbound & Down for not being afraid to shine, to be what it wants to be rather then censor itself around what might offend.

I think that's the brilliance of the show and Danny McBride as a comedy writer. Some people laugh at how utterly ridiculous Kenny Powers is, while others can actually relate to someone like him and his ethos.

That is a good thing especially with the PC bullszhit that is stuffed down our throats these days.

This was a breath of fresh air. Even though the PC crap wasn't running as wild in 2009 as it is now

Yep you said it , amazing show

The other show which would come close being that much unpoliticaly correct would be Always Sunny in Philadelphia
