Exactly! But nothing new in romcoms nowadays - just look at Friends with Kids or I Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - the lead males both below average in the looks department with no redeeming qualities yet their character never seems to have any trouble bedding one woman after the other.

Getting pretty tiring now, are they trying to say that lust is blind or that a lot of American women are just really desperate?

I think they just do it to make the actors feel better in real life
