I was surprised how out of shape Loken looked in the Pilot.
I know the camera adds 10 pounds, but Kristana looked like she just had a child (to be blunt) which doesn't work for an action heroine. She needs to work out for the part.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not some shallow male who loves stick-figure skinny girls, but Kristana looks a little bit too meaty to be an action heroine in my opinion.

For real. Being bi means you are attracted to both sexes, it doesn't change because you happen to be in a relationship with a specific person at the moment. A woman can be in a relationship with a woman OR married to a man and still be bisexual.

I assume Crystal is frustrated with the high, and impossible demands men put on women from an aesthitec standpoint.

i agree with the poster that she has definately gained a little weight since the terminator role that she played a few years back.
with that being said, she doesnt look bad by any means. just a bummer that she is now doing this show and not The L Word.
This is an action role, so there's absolutely nothing wrong with commenting on what kind of shape she is in. The OP is spot on there. It's about more than just her weight though; i.e., if the extra bulk is primarily muscle, there isn't a problem. I'm not sure right now either way; we'll see as the series goes on. But Kristanna does generally have the commanding physical presence you want for an action role, partly thanks to her height.

shareI thought the exact same thing. In the scene after the club shooting, where McBride tells her to backoff the case, I think I even noticed a little bit of a double chin on her. Maybe it's a look they where going for, tough butch cop chick.
The way she looks doesn't change the fact that she isn't a very good actress.
I laughed my ass off during the club scene, where she pulls her gun on McBride and goes "DEA, FREEZE!!! Hands up! Hands...up! Hands up!". Hahaha, it's sooo hokey.

I totally agree... She has the double chin going on... they even have to put her in Turtleneck sweaters every chance they get.
Now, I'm not saying that is a totally bad thing, but it is kindda weird to see that in an action hero... specially one that is being portrayed as a "Hot Invincible Killing Machine"
As for her Acting... Oh dear good... It doesn't matter if she is Gay, Straight or Bi, she can not act either way... not in this role anyway... seems to me like she does not believe in her own role, and that is a Killer, even for a "Hot Invincible Killing Machine"
Even if Loken was 10 lbs lighter she still needs to slim down and shape up to be a convincing field agent. Apparently fast healing powers don't include a speedy metabolism.
