I am thinking of buying this but have never seen it.

I thought it was pretty good, had a comic book vibe to it that not many comic adaptations have.
the show had something for everyone, but I think that's what it's problem was in the eyes of many. I must say, that even though every episode was different, you could see how they were connected. be warned though, that they are not in the right order. For example the bf she has for most of the show is supposedly dumped early on then shows up again.
If you are open to it and try see what they were trying to do you may like it.
The One Man Power Trip
I watched all the episodes and overall, it mostly sucks. There were some pretty good episodes in the beginning, especially when it was Blade Runner-ish and such, but after that, it went quickly downhill from there. It wasn't serious and it wasn't campy, it was just bad.
shareI'm in the middle of the first episode and it seems entertaining enough, but I can already tell I wouldn't buy it. Unless you're a die-hard comic collector and just have to have it (in which case you'd probably have it already) then I say sign up for Netflix and watch the entire season online (and many other movies/shows) basically for free.
I never read this comic, so I have no frame of reference. Probably lucky for me.
it doesn't really follow the comic too much and the first episode is the worst one.
