Just watched a bit of it and it looks like its been shot on a very middle of the road digital rig, not a film camera or decent digital (Genesis/Red) camera.

yes shot in HD with Sony F900 hdcam

Man I totally feel ya on this! :( Oh well. I really don't know what to say. I guess for what the filmmakers were given, as far as budget money, it's about as good as it could get.
