....big fan of the original film..

Gotta say i am darn glad i resisted all these years from paying
any money for it (I was this close to paying full price the day
it was released!)

First off i couldn't believe the crummy camera quality. I know it
was direct to video, but man..... If you can't do anything else
at least make it LOOK like it was filmed with some care..

I made it as far as the concept of "if you're good at playing videogames
you get flagged as a potential terrorist" and i turned it off.

Admittedly that chick's boobs were pretty impressive, but unless she sheds some
clothing it all just remains a tease, and i can't see any other reason
to give this flick any more time.

Tell me if i'm wrong!

I'm not sure if I even made the 15 minute mark, but as soon as I saw the guy ogling the girl's Facebook profile I had enough.
The real Lightman wasn't wasting time drooling over chicks, they came to him because he was The Man.

Are you sure you're talking about David Lightman from the original Wargames?

He was showing off in class to impress Jennifer; tried to impress her when changing school grades and she was definitely egging him on when they started the "Global Thermonuclear War"-game. Both of them toying with the computer and ordering the flight to Paris becomes a plot point when the military believes he wants to escape with an accomplice.

I agree that Wargames is the better movie and that Will Farmer is no David Lightman - but they both definitely had a thing for chicks.

Pretty good flick.

Better than average for a direct to video film.
