Yes I thought so too.

Enjoyed the Jet Li - Jackie Chan combination and loved the locations and the way in which the film paid respect to both kung fu philosophies and earlier kung fu films.

Wonderful movie. Very fun and seeing two great masters working together - bliss.

I really like this film. It's a lot of fun. I adore the Monkey King.

Thank you for this topic! I came here wanting to discuss this little gem of a niche movie, and what do I find? All the (sadly) usual boilerplate screeds about racism and greedy, evil white men. You’ve got a movie with two legends of martial art together for the first time (not as many as were in Hero, but still . . . ) and people whose minds are not clear want to play the race card. The first rule of martial art is never to create conflict, and to dissolve all conflicts that one encounters. A master NEVER fights. Apparently this movie isn’t for White Belts, who will learn more with more teaching. What a pleasure to meet the rest of you. I loved this fun and unpretentious movie for what it is. I laughed and I applauded, and I put it in my video library.
