The material was weak, her timing was off, her tone oscillated between unintelligible and over-loud, and the audience did a lot more obligatory and reluctantly dutiful applauding ("Yeah, Bush sucks!") than laughing. Margaret Cho is still the worst I've ever seen, but it looks like Roseanne Barr is going to encroach on her fat-unfunny-liberal-gay icon territory. And to think Patton Oswalt has never had his own comedy hour on HBO...

I wouldn't call it Roseanne's finest hour, but I wouldn't make it out to be as bad as you did either.

My God, the strip tease! AHHHHHHHHHH! I had to wash my eyes with alcohol. The part where she answered audience questions was kind of funny. But other than that it was an abomination.

I don't necessarily think her material was that bad, but her timing and delivery were off. I still love me some Roseanne tho
