Ok so how far in the movie does her sweet caring husband become evil ? it seems too convenient, I kind of felt like we went to commercial break and we came back and there was this cartoonish evil villain counting all of his money . Lol the acting oh the acting .

Felt bad for him? Did you even watch the whole movie and listen to the dialog? He was a dishonest and manipulative busunessman. A domineering control freak who was use to getting things his own way. He set up the circumstances under which Nick was able to go on the mountain climb after it had been cancelled, just to get him out of the picture for a while so he could romance her. Then he set up Tia so she would be indebted to him. All he was looking for was a trophy wife, one that he could display for business purposes. Any kindness and generousity he showed was for his own selfish purpose in getting and keeping her. Pregnant, unmarried, with the father supposedly killed, she was vulnerable and he took advantage of it. Don't you remember what he did with the community garden that Nick was involved in when he thought she was spending too much time there? How can you possibly feel bad for a guy who would threaten his wife with prison and take her son away?
