Justin, Justinian, Basil II at the least. Two episodes for Justinian and Theodora. Actually I'd watch an entire season of a show dedicated to them.
If they're going with Brits again, cast Dominic Mafham; his eyebrows make him look just like J, though I'd prefer someone who is actually from the region (see DARK AGES from the History Channel for a Justinian lookalike from the Balkans).
I wouldn't mind if they did the whole history of the roman empire from the punic wars until the crusades at least.
Anyways....if they do justinian it will be interesting to see which DWARF will play the role of....NARSES....LOL
