Great movie but Penny was annoying

I also agree. She was very annoying. I especially dislike the nuance of how while she is the bully at school, but how the issue of her aggressive behavior is overlooked by school and by her parents. I somehow always see it in cartoons. Some kids bully others and get away with it because they "became friends" or somehow makeup for it. It's like "oh haha, lets have an adventure, we're friends now".

I also do not like how she doesn't really look like a kid girl, but rather like a miniature sized adult with features of the face that resemble a grown woman. It is just so weird.

Young girls tend to look more mature than boys their age.

me neither all the times she gets in trouble i was shouting out leave her there-horrible bully yet she never gets told off for it

Yeah, what's the point of having her in this movie? She is just a plucky, precocious foil that's been done many times and it gets on my nerves. But other than that, it's a great movie.

If Sherman was seven years old that implies Penny was about that age too. Yet she appears to have makeup on. Why have that in the film for no obvious reason?

Other than that she was okay. She was clearly representing the kind of child who does whatever she wants. I guess one could argue the makeup was a nod to that. Later she admits fault in the school situation and tries to help.
