In the movie she says to georgiana that the reason she sleeps with the duke is because he can help her to get her children back. Is this a lie?
Because she ended up staying with him for the rest of her life. If she only used the duke wouldn't she have left after she got her children? I couldn't live with a man as strange as him if i didn't have feelings for him.
Also, when georgiana listens at the door at them going at it, the noices seemed to suggest she enjoyed it very much. She came hard it seemed, again not something you do when you sleep with a man just for getting a favor.

i would like bess if she had affair with the duke because she was rally in love with him OR
i would like bess if she did it only to get her children, i understand that cause maybe i would do the same

but now she SAYS she does it because she needs to get her children but her actions seemed to suggest she loved him, but denied it.

Either love him truelly and be honest about it to georgiana (cause G at least deserves that, after all it is HER marriage and home)and not lie OR just use him and be honest about that too

I think she loved him, however, not the love Georgina and Charles had. Bess had gone through a lot and I can't imagine what it would be like to have your children taken away; which of course by no means excuses her. The Duke gave her her most precious and treasured thing back. She at least must have been hell of grateful for that, even at the price of ruining a family. And this, I think, is where the love came.
