"A Dangerous Method" (2011). It also is very good and focuses on a woman's struggle through a male-dominated world, starring Keira Knightley.

Any movies made from a Jane Austen's book is in the Georgian period. Late 1700's to early 1800's.

Barry Lyndon is spectacular. Anyone that enjoys this movie should also watch that one. It focuses on a male social climber rather than a female noble, but many of the same themes are present as well as them both being commentaries on social structures.

Not exactly 18th century but similar plot to this one a Royal Affair or maybe the other Boleyn Girl and tv series the Tudors

Actually days after I saw this film I've wondered what would have happened of Anne Boleyn Married William Cavendish and Georgiana married Henry VIII.

I think their marriages would have worked better.
Anne was perfect seducing people and found her way to marry the king of England so I'm sure she would have find her way to make the duke love her.
The duke was crazy but a bitt more calmed than Henry VIII, he didn't murder G after he knew about the affair so I'm he and Anne would have made a good couple

G was perfect for Henry she was as sexy as Anne but more calmed and obedient.
She was the perfect mix between and Jane which Is basically what Henry Needed and Henry was always softer with his wife, if let's say he wasn't attracted to Georgiana he would have asked her for simple divorce and G would have been free to be with whoever she wanted to be with.
