how was coco not freaked out?

It seems like a lot of the females of the show are such oddballs. Coco was very shy and timid in a way that seemed to give her some depth, but seriously...I did not get that. Jermaine followed her to the bathroom and hit on her and never left the two alone, and she saw this is a minor inconvenience and not an immediate red light?
