Um ok so i JUST got done watching this movie. i actually kind of liked it because it took a whole different spin on things - everyone else 'seeing' things and getting the wrong idea through visions of the so-called-past to get the wrong idea and end up killing each other/self, etc. just very interesting.

but the end - ok so 'jacob' carries 'claire' out of the house and down the drive way and off the farm.... and where the hell's he taking her? home and then stepping down as a priest to marry her? to the hospital? lol

i don't get it - it's not like he goes and checks up on Isobel and is like "ohhh thank you God, ok well Claire's good too, and oohh where's dad?" and they find dad as well and everyone sees what dad did to the vet guy.... they all split up in the end for one very strange end. i just dont get it.
what's your take on it everyone?

And who was the demon girl who attacked the sheriff at the end of the night?

That girl at the end was a girl posessed by the demon that left isabelle. If u notice earlier in the film it hoppe out of isabelle and into sister claire.
I think maybe the priests did it wrong in the end by not telling demon where to go. He only said "get out of her, leave her now" sort of stuff but not "go back to hell" or "return to where u came from unclean spirit"
May be why it kept hopping bodies

OK the girl at the end of the film who was possessed and the sheriff was like WTF!!! ok thats a girl he raped or assaulted at the beginning of the movie. his secret was what he had done to her. in the end, that girl came back somehwo in the form of the devil or possessed or whatevr and totally was like "oh no you didn't!"

it was kind of a metaphor for how our ill deeds or bad things we've done come back to make our lives hell.
