Image if Hollywood would have done LUPIN III

1st they would have definately de-naturilizze the source material with their "artistic" liberties (see Dylan Dog..my blood still boils for that one)-

But let's pretend they did, who do you think they would have put in the respective roles.

This is my take:

LUPIN III = Jamie Foxx (t the production company would have said, something that color doesn't matter, it's about character)

Jigen: Robert Downey Junior. (HIS trademark à la Jigen cigarette would dissappear, cause in Hollywood every knows that no lead actor can smoke)

Zenigata: Paris Hilton (cause the hollywood Director, who probably never heard of Lupin before being handed the Kevin Smith revisted Manu-script by, envisioned him as a female.

Wow, Jokes aside can't wait for the movie to come out:

Lupin - Tom Hiddleston or Jim Carrey, someone with a smart mouth but great cunning and a big heart.

Jigen - Actually, I'm not sure who it could definitely be. My best guess is Jean Reno, someone good at being in the background but who can also be badass.

Fujiko - Rachel McAdams, she'd be someone cunning and with sexual wiles, similar to SHERLOCK HOLMES' Irene Adler.

Goemon - Tadanobu Asano, an authentic Japanese actor for the role.

Zenigata - Russell Crowe, it'd be a similar role to his performance Javert in LES MISERABLES but more hilarious.

Jigen: as I've said before, a gruffed up bearded Timothy Dalton would be ideal!

Zenigata: Bruce Campbell, both for comedic reasons and because he's identical to the character.

A Hollywood Lupin Movie would be amazing; only on one condition: it should be directed by Quentin Tarantino !

as for the cast I see:

Lupin - Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, Seann William Scott
Jigen - Micheal Madsen, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Cavanagh, Hugh Jackman,
Gaemon - I ll leave that to QT to cast a cool Japanese Actor
Zenigata - Robert De Niro, Christoph Waltz; Steve Buscemi, Sacha Baron Cohen,
Gerard Butler
