Why did Luke leave the show?
Why did actor Tommy Knight leave Sarah Jane Adventures? He and K-9 went off to college, but why are they leaving the show in real life?

I personally think the show will suffer somewhat as he was the boy genius that could come up with solutions the rest can't think of.
After all he was part of the solution to the Doctor towing Earth across the universe.
Does this mean he won't meet Matt Smith - that would be a shame.

While i do like luke, he didn't do anything to help. Mr Smith and K9 did all the work, luke just stood there.

What are A-levels? I'm from the USA and I do not know that term. Will Clyde and Rani's actors leave for their A-levels?
shareA levels are qualifications done after high school that you need to get into university to do a degree. Not everyone does them. The exams everyone does at school are GCSE's

To answer the second part of your question Daniel Anthony who plays Clyde is 23 and Anjli Mohindra who plays Rani is 20 (something), A-Levels are taken at age 18 so they are way past that.
