River Song Adventures

There has been a absence of Doctor Who for younger children since the very sad passing of the brilliant Liz.

I wonder if Alex Kingston would be interested in doing her own Children's program.

Personally loved her character... Would love to see her head her own program and a children's program could be excellent.

They'd have to PG her down a bit. She'd be no fun as River. Unless this it was during her professor years.

Somehow I don't think River Song Adventures would rated anything below 15. Not with that hallucinogenic lipstick and dating 2 people who use the same body or have 2 heads can't remember exactly what she said on that one.

Although it would be interesting to see what happened to her after she separated from her parents.

Which came first the virus or the anti-virus!

I couldn't see it as a childrens program, but I could imagine it as an adults program which is suitable with adult supervision...

I'd honestly LOVE to see River in more turn of the century garb <33

Alex would be amazing in her own show. I think, tonally, it could work somewhere between TW and the SJA (leaning a little more towards TW).

The Pasternoster Gang would work great as a CBBC show too (actually I think they could easily go more dark as well if someone wanted to do that and I've read some very good fanfics where people have done that and it would've been brilliant if it were filmed, but their comedic feel is a nice fit for younger children), but with all the prosthetics and it being a Victorian period show, it would probably be far too costly.

The best replacement IMO would have been a spinoff starring Georgia Moffett as Jenny (or at the very least a regenerated Jenny, if Georgia didn't want to resume the role full time), on her adventures as she tries to find her dad. Obviously I doubt that'll ever happen, but it definitely would've fit as a CBBC show and it wouldn't have been nearly as expensive as a Pasternoster show.
