They Should Do a One-Off Special

End the series in much the same fashion as it began, with a special episode (possibly feature-length this time) showing us what happened to the gang after Sarah Jane's death from cancer. The episode could feature Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor and could also perhaps include a few nods to Torchwood: Miracle Day.

Anyone agree?

I wouldn't be agaist that if the scipt was good but it would be very sad considering we would all be thinking of Elisabeth Sladen's death

God no as it is it isn't even considered canon in the whoniverse as Doctor who has stories that happen at the same time best to keep it that way.

I'm not the biggest fan of Miracle Day either (though for some reason I really liked the first episode), but I really have a problem with officially produced material being dismissed as out-of-canon. As it stands, Miracle Day can be reconciled within the main continuity if one can accept that Rory and Amy wouldn't have mentioned it immediately to the Doctor in 'Let's Kill Hitler'. They had enough stuff going on in their own lives, so at least there's some type of logic that could be applied to that otherwise inexplicable omission.

They could even say that the stress of dealing with Miracle Day contributed to Sarah Jane's death.

But it wasn't produced by BBC proper it was a production with starz in the driving seat and BBC worldwide as co producer it certainty had nothing to do with the doctor who team nor was doctor who canon taken into consideration when making it.

Two different versions of the Doctor were on Earth in April 2011 when Miricle day took place the version spent (18-20 April 2011) with craig and goes on to get shot on the beach after during the events of miricle day,(19/20 March was day 1 but it went on for months so was certainly going on in April) and the earlier version that shows up in response to his later self's invitation. You would think one of them would have noticed.

Plus Amy and Rory would definitely have told him what was happening you know the one person they knew that could probably do something about it as would River

Sorry but Miricle day conflicts with Doctor who so is not canon

That would be a huge insult to Lis Sladen
