Re-title the show and keep it going!

They should make someone else the lead star (a former DW companion, heck, a former Doctor), re-title the show ("Time Team Adventures", "Weird happenings.org", "Monster Finders: The Further SJA"), and keep the show going. Just say that Sarah Jane went off on an adventure, and was last seen getting into the TARDIS with the Doctor. The young cast is too likeable--and the show is too good--for the show to just end like this. I miss Lis and Sarah Jane like everyone, but they should dedicate the show to her and keep it going.

No, I think that would be disrespectful.

I'd far rather reference it in the next series of Doctor Who for closure. The Doctor start Season 7 walking away from a graveyard. We see the gravestones for Sarah Jane Smith and Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart, and then Clyde runs up to him and tells him that... the Judoon have imposed an interplanetary embargo / the Trickster has captured Rani / alien tea-cosies are plotting to take over the world.

Alien Tean Cosies? and when did they start remaking The Tomorrow People

In 2012! Hahah

To the best of my recollection, the show was made for Elisabeth.

Her character was in the one-off programme K9 and Company in 1981 before returning in the new Doctor Who opposite David Tennant and appearing in four series of The Sarah Jane Adventures on CBBC.

Russell T Davies, who brought her back to Doctor Who, said of working with her: "We found ourselves with a new friend... as we shot that episode I remember thinking 'I'm not letting her go'."

Something similar would have a future (it could even work without Lis if they decided to do a 'five years later' and let Clyrani grow up and move Mr Smith somewhere else), but this show should die with Lis.

After all, 'Clyde' is really 24 and 'Rani' is somewhere close to celebrating her 21st.

No, it would'nt be the same without Sarah Jane.

If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now.-Loki (Marvel's Avengers)
