Really dropped the ball.(spoilers).
I loved the beginning of the show, how it became more complex with Wolf doing his Iraq-speech, the rich guy getting mixed up, the other platoon members working it from the outside etc. And I liked it midways still, even though there were a lot of pointless fluffscenes (like the scene between the gay guy and the bank manager). But the ending was just bad. What the hell happened with the writing? It was really good up til then.
For example when Wolf kills Rabbit, and Wahlberg leaves the bank puking, I really thought that Wolf had used Rabbits corpse in disturbing way to trick Wahlberg(which would have explained the silly fight between Wolf and Rabbit, and why he was so overly conflicted after Mouses death about what to do, since Wolf had planned to Rabbit and use the corpse). Would have been some ingenious writing if they could fit it together somehow, but instead they used the ol' "dress up as hostages and espace in the ambo"-routine.
And how the hell could the bug in the photo still be in range? It went out of range the first time they tried to escape, you would like to think that they came further than that this time.
And then Drake turns on his own armybuddies, and a long boring drawn out shoot out. I'm just dissapointed with the whole ending.
