You should be able to pick it up at most rental outlets as well as Netflix. It's also available on Amazon.com.

Where was this film ever aired in US? TV? Cinema?
It has been airing on the Showtime Network and The Movie Channel since December of '08. Right now it's averaging about 8 screenings a month. It is slowly being distributed throughout the world on cable television through our distributors, Artist View Entertainment and 20th Century Fox. It will eventually be distributed to free TV.
It will be released on DVD in the US three weeks from today. I don't know when it will be available for rental in other countries, but it will happen.
What is Filmnet? Is is a cable network or is on the internet?

Filmnet is a part of several cable networks in the Netherlands, for example UPC (cable where I have watched it) http://tvgids.upc.nl/TV/#101 and (former)CanalPlus (both satellite and cable, it is called Canaldigitaal now, http://www.canaldigitaal.nl/
Filmnet is called Film1 now but I keep forgetting that.

I think the German actress elisabeth Rohm for the lead was a great choice. She is very talented.

Was Ghost Image subtitled or dubbed?
The Dutch don't dub (except for Harry Potter and children's films or cartoons. ) but they will also have the original version as well (for the adults who want to hear the original voices and/or avoid the children in the cinema LOL ).
So yes, it was subtitled.
Elisabeth reminds me of Kate Hudson, but even more beautiful.
