Cidade de Deus, Tropa de Elite or Jerusalema?

Simple question : which of these three films do you like most and why? All three try to be hyperrealistic in their portrayal of slum life and violence, the first two both deal with the youth gangs in Rio and the latter is somewhat a mixture of "Cidade de Deus" and "Scarface" taking place in the slums of South-Africa.

Each of these three are excellent films in my opinion, but my personal favorite is "Cidade de Deus" because its way of weaving the different background stories together is a bit more orriginal than the style of the other films. What do you guys think?

I've only seen the 1st 2, but City of God is one of the best films ever made imo. As far as the direction, the acting, the weaving of stories, the gritty realism, & the beauty of that film goes not many other movies can compare.

I don't understand why people like City of God so much, I think Elite Squad is way better.
