What I hated the most about this movie... no screaming

My girlfriend and I recently rented this movie because it looked particularly interesting. I love horror movies, and we both like Edgar Allan Poe. The Raven is my favorite poem. This movie doesn't deserve the names of "The Raven," "Edgar Allan Poe" or "Lenore." This movie was complete crap, and is now officially my personal number one WORST movie that I have ever seen. Before today, that honor went to Son of the Mask, but this movie took the title, blowing Son of the Mask away in suckiness in less than a half hour. This movie was going NOWHERE fast. A plotless, pointless, horribly written, horribly acted piece of worthless crap. This is coming from a guy who is very hard to disappoint and usually HATES hearing people complain about a movie if it was at least decent.

However, the thing about this movie that p*$$ed me off most of all was that the lame, ineffective killer killed many people, yet not one of them (at least for as much of the movie as I could stomach) screamed or even uttered a yelp of pain. WHAT THE *beep* It was maddenning, really! If it weren't just a movie (and I didn't have the power to just press "stop") I may have wanted to strangle somebody. I know we are talking about a movie here, but come on! I like to escape into the entertainment of it and enjoy the story, but if you smack people in the face with fakeness, that is impossible. Nobody would just sit there like a dumb $h*t mouth agape in the fakest, most pathetic attempt at a terrified look, completely soundless. I honestly would have much rather shoved a rusty fork through my eye than watch this movie.

Uggggh! Sorry to over-react, but GOOD GOOOOOD this movie was HORRIBLE! Painfully horrible. Have you ever actually been so bored that if physically hurt? I have no that I've seen this movie.
