This is one of those films where the landscape and scenery was as powerful as the story, I must know... where was this filmed? The production company is in Canada and the story was set in the Eastern townships of Quebec, was it filmed there as well? Its amazing, worth visiting that area for a trip. Thanks.

I looked at a site called Chaletsauquebec. The film was shot entirely on location at a farm near Austin in Quebec. The place is for rent to the public and between a couple of ski areas on a river. I used google to find it.
