IMDB and it posts are not meant to be used to promote your sh*tty film. Your posts should be removed, except no one looks at em anyway. I only found out because you posted the film on the "This film has not yet been Rated" thread.

You should be ashamed of yourself you scumbag.

Signature... or not. It is just shameless self-promotion, like when you laugh harder at your own jokes RAFL!!!!!

So whats the excuse for starting every thread on your own movies IMDB page (bar one remotely interested person)?? BTW, I wonder how it got on IMDB? There mustn't must in the way of criteria eh? HEHEHEHE

Anything can get screened at a film festival. It doesn't make it a good film though. Only *good* indie films get picked up from festivals for distribution. The others go straight to dvd;)

Good movies get promoted by fans of the movie, not the makers.

Zombies? That is so original and never been done before eh? Why don't you do something no one has ever done like 'The Sixth Sense', or 'Blair Witch Project', or the original 'Ringu', or 'Hard Candy' or 'Friday the 13th'? Most of which were low budget films that excelled because of something call, wait for it, imagination. Who wants to see another low budget zombie film that has 'Dawn of the Dead', Zombies and Romero as the tag words for a sh*tty trailer on YouTube? Gotta say though, I loved the KISS masks all of the zombies have on and the guy running along with his eye hanging out. It looks sooooo real man. The acting rivals Russ Meyer films as among the worst I've ever seen! Except Russ Meyer films are meant to be campy, in the trailer for this junk film, you can tell how painfully hard the *actors* are trying to act. Smart that you didn't have *too* much so called 'acting' in your trailer. But it should be enough to scare anyone with any standard of film appreciation away. Even an eight year old with a Super8 could shoot better, scarier stuff than whats in your trailer, and trailers usually show the BEST stuff than whats in this film!! RAFL >;0 How dare you associate this garbage with Romero. Fans would kill for less.

I noticed on tempevideo that there are other great movies such as 'Beer Drinkers in Space', 'Oranges: Revenge of the Eggplant' (which looks funny at least), 'The Red Skulls' and 'Basic How-To Halloween Makeups'. Oh, I forgot 'Kingdom of the Vampire' (1991) which has 10 votes on IMDB. All sound like Ed Wood films. 'Plan 9 from Outer Space' has 10,369 votes. Maybe you will be lucky and Deadlands: The Rising will be as much a cult sensation as Plan 9 was. Tempevideo, I feel, is a site that knows exceptional talent when it sees it!!!!

Well, enough fun, I have to go. Some of us have real jobs to go to, and its 230am here. Just one thought to leave you with: If you are going to do something, do it properly or don't do it at all, seriously dude.

Try making a porno or something that you can manage artisically.

I only used those movies of examples of original thought in the horror genre, I never said they would good. For gods sake, Blair Witch?

I don't remember ever seeing a 100 car traffic jam in any zombie film. I believe we were the first to do that... Thank you very much. You don't have to have an original monster idea as long as some of the gags or scenes are original in the material you are using.

And what is so frigging original about Blair Witch? A boogeyman, or supernatural monster lurking in the woods. oooooooo So original so scary. Wow what a brain child of filmmaking right there.

The guys whom made BW get one bit of credit from me... They had an excellent marketing plan and they got PAID! Other than that I was $10 and 90 minutes of my life for a 5 second climax.

As I already said, I only used these movies as an example or ORIGINAL thought. Nobody said BW was good, did they? Bad Taste took a couple of years to film, thus they kept working and came up with the cash to make it a $150,000 (NZD were talking here) and shot each weekend, accumilating film as they went along. His scope was obviously much larger than yours, and he went on to do bigger and better things ie: Braindead.

BW was different, not good, but DIFFERENT because it used guerilla camera techniques shot as a 'reality' themed gimmick, my god I hated the F UCKING thing with the bitchs snot coming outta her feral nostrils. So what if one scene in your movie hasn't been done before? Its a zombie film. You spent how long trying figure out something original, and 100 empty cars in a zombie film is all you could come up with?? F uck, you are retarded. At least your friends' film, "Womens Studies" has an original idea. I would be much more prepared to shell out cash for it since it has an original premise.

Duh, terrorist s hit happens so the dead become undead ,eat flesh... wow.
hello? How gay are you.

UNK was the name of the first rave party (doof they call em here) I ever went to. My pet name is Dirk Diggler.

Sorry you thought I would be more challenging, I thought your mother would be too :( I shot a video of her, its on youtube:

I came upon this movie by accident I am not sure it is good but i will check it out sice I am in the mood for a zombie movie anyways. Oh and by the way arguing with someone is making you both look very unproffesional you should take any criticsm be it bad or good.

reply

And no offense unk-6 but I think you are trying to hard to insult them in almost every topic they create, and after reading the review on dread central I may definitely check it out.

i came to imdb to look up this movie, and i am interested in seeing it, but these posts by the filmmaker are really lame. let your work speak for itself, and stop making an ass out of yourself.

"unappreciated homebound, basement dwelling, internet movie critics"

Well, this IS the InternetMovieDataBase, not Roger Ebert or Richard Roeper or Leonard Maltin. This is the internet mate.

If you didn't blow your own trumpet so loudly, you wouldn't get this.

reply

Totally dude!! Let the product do the talk'n? Thats exactly how it all started. I criticised him for all his hype, then it turned into this retarded debate. I know I'm just as bad as him, but I'm just a basement internet film critic who doesn't know $hit:)

"let the product do the talking"

Did you... ya know, watch it?

I met these guys at one of the theatrical releases, and they're just average Joes like you and I. They took popsicle sticks and chochkeys and really made something out of it to make this film. I'm not sure why you're giving them such a hard time for wanting people to see something they worked so hard on, especially when it IS, after all, a forum for THEIR film, and it's obvious by the posts (and the signatures) who's an unbiased viewer and who actually worked on the film. Haven't you ever been proud of something, and defended it when drooling idiots knocked it for whatever reasom?

reply

as for the other guy, while i agree with you in this thread, neither Blair Witch (see Cannibal Holocaust) nor Friday The 13th (see Twitch Of The Death Nerve) were anything too original.
