One of the least entertaining films I have ever seen. 2/10

First IMDB post ever and I've been on here for 2 years. Got authenticated just to let people know if they are looking for a movie to be genuinely entertained and enjoy themselves with, please, pick any other movie.

This is an absolute borefest. I genuinely don't force myself to watch boring movies, but because the movie had some actors I liked, and an interesting premise, I decided to finish it.

Nothing really happens. People go blind, get thrown into a facility, and form their blind community, and then they eventually leave. Now the events that take place before they leave are just an absolute pain to watch. Especially the actual characters. Sure, Ward 1 is blind but so are the others. I can't believe all those people would let themselves be subjugated by 1 man with a gun. There was no dialogue on how they can overcome the tyrant; they just accepted it. It should have been clear that they had to do something, and eventually the wife did but god damn she sure took her time.

Only movie that ever got me this worked up was The Mist because of it's garbage ending.

Seriously, this movie is *beep* I don't care about metaphors or some deep message. I just want to be entertained.
