About Fan Service
Not sure what was meant with the promise about "much fan service" but I certainly miss the old Misato Katsuragi in this issue.

The line is a reference to the original series, where at the end of each episode they showed a short preview for the next. They had a voiceover by Misato and all ended with the phrase "And as always, there'll be plenty of fan service!"
Thanks for your clarification!. I did see the original but in Japanese with English subtitles and I did not see or notice the phrase then.
