After their recent comments on Anime News Network's ANN Cast that a home video release of the Evangelion 3.33 movie was being planned for early 2016, FUNimation updated the timing at this weekend's New York Comic Con, saying the long-anticipated Rebuild sequel is slated for February 2, 2016.
You can also preorder 3.33 from Bestbuy and it confirms the date. SWEET!

shareI didn't preorder; I'd kinda forgotten about the series, heh... I knew that it had released in Japan a number of years ago already and that I hadn't seen anything about an North American release. Then all the sudden there were ads from Funimation on my facebook feed, so I got it (and Cowboy Bebop: the complete series, at HALF PRICE!)
