I have one question.......

The question I have is, will True North be released in America? I know that it says, "UK" where it will be released but for other Sean bean movies, like
"The Field", IMDb says, "UK and Ireland" but was still released in America. I was wondering if anyone has heard of any other news about the countries it will be released. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I am by far unsure of this, but I would say most likely it will get US release but probably limited. There hasn't been an official announcement yet and I don't know how we'd find out which countries it will get released in and when. Anyone know of an official website? Or perhaps the US distributor has one on it...

(04/03/07) This film has been renamed Far North. (Probably trying to avoid the confusion with Steve Hudson's True North (2006).)

Celluloid Dreams, the Paris-based film sales company who handles the distribution of Far North, has merged with another Europe's leading film sales company, UK-based Hanway Films, and formed the new sales, production and financing venture, Dreamachine, which will be based in London, Paris and Toronto. Far North is listed as one of the "completed pics" on Dreamachine's slate and it is on Dreamachine's Cannes roster which can be expected to screen at the festival or its concurrent market next month.
