Ninety nine percent of the movie was setting up the ending. The ending was so fast that it was anti-climactic. I think the movie was trying too hard to be intriguing by having everybody "in bed" with everyone else.
The one question I have to ask is "why was Joe Torry's character at the board meeting at the end of the movie?
When I first saw this movie, I thought it was going too fast also. This movie was just too predictable and the way they busted Brandon seemed so unrealistic. I mean it was if Donovan had no hard time and he came from nowhere. The original Motives was so much better than this. Motives 2 was a tad boring but tolerable.
