Perfect sequel to a great movie...

A lot of people weren't too happy with the way the first Motives movie ended and they wanted to see those responsible for Emmery's wrongful incarceration face justice.

Needless to say, the public got what they wanted and rest assured, the story for this one keeps you on the edge as Emmery's estranged brother Donovan, a man who Emmery tried to keep in contact with but was never able to get in touch with him, becomes his only ally in the search for salvation. The problem? Emmery is killed in prison and now the truth about his wrongful incarceration has the entire city on the edge as he was 'Atlanta's' Golden boy.

Now as Donovan enters the picture and finds evidence behind Emmery's downfall, some dangerous people working behind the scenes want the truth to stay where it is...buried. The fact that Connie, Emmery's wife, is unknowingly sleeping with the enemy doesn't make things easier and that's a shame: Donovan and Emmery's lawyer are the only ones who believe that he was set up and I thought for sure she'd at least be interested in knowing what really happened.

The best part of this movie is seeing the antagonist sweat bullets as he knows he'll be burned at the stake if Donovan discovers the truth. He even tries to bribe Donovan, but even that doesn't work. It all boils down to a one on one confrontation between the guilty and the innocent and only one will be allowed to walk away from this one.

Motives 2 was an excellent sequel and I think a lot of peopel will enjoy it!
