I still can't believe this show was cancelled. This was such a great show. I would have loved to have seen it continue. I guess I can not wrap my head around how the networkes highest rated show got cancelled?

Yeah it was a huge shame but by the time season 7 came around barely any of the original cast was still on the show (I am a huge Catherine Bell fan so I would have continued watching anyway)... I also believe that they were moving production away from South Carolina as they closed the movies studios down there but I could be wrong...

Even though the cast had their off screen issues in real life, they were also just depicting the Army Base life. People DO move away and so natural cast changes were just a part of the show. Yes some people stay on base 20 years or whatever, but based on rank/job it was natural for people to move to other bases. Wish the audience understood that and kept watching the show. Their ratings were still high.
