Who wants a season 8!?

I have never been so interested in anything like Army Wives. It is so hard to stop watching. Personally, I never knew this show was out until my friend told me about it which was back in 2014 when she told me. I started watching it, and I couldn't stop. The characters make it feel so real, after Jeremy Sherwood passed away, I was like "I can't stop watching this, I need to finish". Its just so heartwarming, seeing the wives plus Roland always there for eachother no matter what, through the hardest times and always being supportive of one another. I was disappointed when I watched the last episode in season 7. I didn't like the way it ended, there's just so much more to make another season. Tim Truman getting help, Gloria choosing between Lt. Clarke and Hector, Michael moving on from Claudia Joy's passing, etc. I don't understand why a season 8 was never made. I absolutely love Army Wives, but that last episode in the very last season was very disappointing. I think another season should be made to get an understanding ending and closure.

I don't think that it should have continued, but I would have liked to have seen a spin off with Brooke Shields character calling it Air Force Wives. She and Michael could have still stayed together.

ME ME ME ME ME!!!!

I just finished watching season 7 and I am left wanting more!! I was dreading the show moving on without most of the tribe especially after they got rid of Claudia Joy but the new characters they introduced were simply brilliant! As long as Catherine Bell and Kelli Williams stuck around Im sure a season 8 could have happened!

I also want more. I miss Claudia Joy and Pamela. But people move on, especially in the military, so I think the show could continue with new characters. Sad that we didn't get to know Brooke Shields' character better because I think that could've been an interesting path for the show to explore.

It took too long for Shield's character to join the show- obviously they didn't realize it would be their final season otherwise Im sure they would have introduced her character right from the start! Ashanti and Jesse McCartney were very impressive too!

I just came here because I was missing the show so much I wanted to see if others felt the same haha I watched from the beginning, I'm an Army Brat who lived around Ft Benning for many adult years and had many army wives friends. This show was incredible in showing the bonds that are formed. SO much better TV than the wave of Housewives franchises where the women just rip each other to shreds. I really hope they bring a version back!

Can you please tell me, becouse i am so facinated by the show. Is army life in real life like the one in the show ????? Thank you for your reply :-)

It had its moments that were realistic for sure. When I was a "brat", 25-30 years ago, watching my mom make friendships with women around us reminded me very much of the friendships on the show, though I never saw officer wives and enlisted wives become friends. Things seemed to change once I'd graduated and gone away and come back from college. I made lots of army wife friends (I never became one) and knew many women whose husbands deployed and sadly saw many wives cheat on their husbands (I wasn't friends with these women). A lot of unhappily married women who would get married to "escape" their hometowns, have babies with soldiers for the guaranteed child support and benefits, the older I got, the seedier it became, and the show thankfully never really showed that side of Army lives. But there were always functions, both formal and informal among the wives. It was a beautiful thing to see when I was younger. Some of my favorite memories were when my stepdad was deployed in the Gulf ('89-90) and my mom and friends would all go bowling or hiking almost every weekend, or have game nights, with all of us kids running around and the moms hanging around. It was awesome!

I wish there were continuing episodes, I am re-watching the seven seasons on Netflix, for the third time now. I would like another season, but I am thinking that there should be a spin-off for another branch Such as Navy Wives, Marine Wives, Air Force Wives, Cost Guard Wives, something like that The two series could merge together. I think Navy Wives would be a good place to start. It would just be interesting to see life for Naval spouses on a Navy Base.
