surfer assault aired on Sunday night, 12/17/06

I couldn't believe the brutal video that was aired as "Whacked out Sports". A peaceful surfer was repeatedly chased and severely beaten by a violent felon. What surprised me most was the narrator was joking about it the whole time. It should have been on a legal show. The narrator should've followed up with the legal fallout of the attack. What I would really like to know is, was the video used as evidence to put the attacker behind bars? I would hope so. If anyone reads this who has further info, please post. The attacker should be put behind bars. It's one thing to throw a punch and leave it at that - but it's entirely another to repeatedly beat a man who is down, and obviously trying to flee from a violent *beep* It's even sadder that nobody on the beach tried to help the guy.
