Imhotep

The Mummy 3 is an OK movie. It's just not as good as the first two installments. I know the majority of us including me wish the movie was set in Egypt just like the first two. But here's the question if the movie was set in Egypt would it have been necessary to have Imhotep resurrected a third time because they would have needed a valid reason. What do you guys think?
