heh. Thought that at first too. But after a while saw that they are nothing alike other than they have a human character who changes sides. Thats pretty common theme with amot of shows.

We need to remember that Fern Gully was not the first movie to have an environmental theme, nor the first to have a human/western//whatever character who changes sides.

So if this is "Fern Gully in Space," then Fern Gully is all of those earlier movies... in Fern Gully.
