Not the True story

this move is a TRUE dissapoinment too True Serial killer fan's.. it seemed like they just borrowed some parts from the real story and pasted it too a gue of ficion fitch a plot and story that do not match ..... if u watch this movie i feel bad for you.. look for fun but don't belive for a second that this is the true story.

personally i think the autghor and maker of this movie should be ashemed of them self for making this. this is a perfekt example of filmakers wiith too mutch free hand's. peapole is gona watch this and belive this. awfull.. just awful.

Michael Feifer.. never EVER try making another "true" story. at least not another Serial Killer movie... im still crying at night and not becose it was well directed.. stick too the truth and i might be nicer too you.. but the true Butcher WAS YOU.

Ok, I got it on now and I'll believe it's not the true story, and I'll believe it's crap. Hell the movie even looks like it was an 80's film! But, if you want to be taken serious by movie producers (if he is even reading this site), learn to speak English a little more complexly then with grammar of (and pardon if I offend anyone) "stereotypical southern trailer trash". That and use a spell check program, PLEASE! Outside of that, you're pretty much right.

reply

Holy *beep* I hope you read this even though it's been nine years... Your spelling and grammar is god awful and you're the last person to be giving anyone a lecture on such a thing.

OK i havent seen this movie yet, but i know before i go bashing a movie or an author or even a producer, i would definitly proof read what i typed up, so i dont look like a jackass for the whole world to see, winther 83. learn how to spell then you can bash anyone you want one here.. cuz you really look like a dumbass!

reply

Don't bash someones grammar if you can't even use it correctly..."i" should be an "I" in the first sentence and throughout your entire response. "Cuz" is not a word; you could at least show enough decency to spell out the already poor 'cause or just take the teeny weeny effort to spell out because. Wow! That was hard!

reply

See the difference is, "i" did it on purpose and he thought he was doing it correctly, "i" am not misspelling words like 'mutch" and "perfekt"... "i" didn't use capital letters "cuz" "i" didn't want to!! Trust me I know how to use correct grammar and proper English, I went to school, and graduated with a 3.9 GPA, sorry that your bashing technique didn't pan out that great this time!!!!! Like us Cleveland sports fans are used to saying "There's always next year!!!!!"

Unless I'm mistaken, judging by what he wrote in the first post, I would say the gentleman is German. Also note that he may have learned spoken English and not written, the combination of which would easily explain his typing errors.

Yeah, most of this movie is fiction. It even states this in the end credits.
The acting was bad bad bad and it moves so slow, I yawned several times.

I rented thru CinemaNow just to see how accurate it is compared the real Ed Gein case. Plenty of fake stuff was added in like when Gein captures the cop's dopey girlfriend, never happened.

Plus, they even add a religious tone which is completely idiotic and fake. None of Gein's victims told him to "let God handle it", lol! If they did, they would have been 86'd right away because the real Ed Gein believed that God wanted him to murder.

The other version with Steve Railsback is much better and it's accurate. Railsback is a much better actor than Hodder too. So if you want the real story, check out "In The Light of the Moon".

There is also that Ed really isn't a serial killer, they can only really get him for one murder, heavily suspected in another. And a big possible in a couple others but not probable. Every movie done about him has gotten things wrong, some huge some little, but yeah, this movie stank.
