Can kids watch this?

I have a 12-year-old daughter who would love this movie based on what I've read about it. However since it's straight-to-video it's not rated, and I haven't found any kind of indicator as to gore, violence, nudity, etc. Is this a kid-friendly movie, or is this more with adults in mind?

Great question. If it went through the MPAA I believe it would get a PG-13 or PG. Only two "bad" words, and the violence isn't extreme. No nudity.

So I would think a 12 year old would be entertained -- however, you should watch it before hand too be sure.

The biggest issue are the trailers at the head of the movie. The DVD plays three and ALL are 'R' rated with extreme violence (showcasing a big horror film called FREAKSHOW which is a very disturbing trailer) -- but you can skip through these trailers with your remote (if you're fast enough).

Have fun!

Sure let your daughter watch it she will be asleep in 10 minutes! This movie was boring beyond belief! Mt daught loves the fantasy stuff and she left 1/2 way through grumbling under her breath about killing herself rather than watching the rest of what turned out to be "the worst of the worst"

I just finished watching it. It is a bit wordy, but it is safe for children. Just skip the previews and you'll be safe.

Habing said that, for grown ups I suggest watching "Freakshow," if you're brave enough.

The film is about a PG. There isn't that much violence and spends most the film with the characters talking and fleeing from a relatively non-realistic looking dragon. The only real adult thing is that almost all of the characters are killed off, leaving only four alive.

Did one of the actors say answer the *beep* (Why was my word turned into a *beep*?) question and another called him a bastard?

It should be rated 18 for the poor accents. For an English person watch this it's laughable when they try and do Scottish or Welsh or Irish.... hehe

reply

At least Jon-Paul Gates and Matthew Wolf couldn't screw their accents up.
